About:

Since 2008, Kate Cutko, the library director has organized a group of volunteers who craft and assemble decorative paper crafts. Kate keeps her eye out for inspiration and harvests the discarded books for the materials to make things. 100% of the sales of these items goes to the Bowdoinham Public Library and its programs and resources.

Artist Statement:

With a seemingly endless supply of damaged or discarded books, we believe that those books can still inspire us and be celebrated. We look for ways to “upcycle” the materials and create beautiful things for your home.
